Hindu Satsang Members can sign up to be a convener or a facilitator for a particular congregation. Convener’s job is to ensure that the program runs on schedule, makes all the announcements like Birthdays, Marriage Anniversaries, Food Sponsors, Introduces the guest speaker and guest singer - all these details should be available in the latest edition of Hindu Satsang Newsletter. Convener also ensures that someone is taking photos or videos for the updates in Newsletter, Facebook and our website. If you would like to sign up to be a convener, please contact our Gen. We also invite a guest singer to our congregations. Satsangis get a chance to immerse themselves in the blissful melody of bhajans & kirtans. Satsangis also join in with the guest singer and sing along with them. This is a beautiful way to meditate, listen, and feel close to God, all at the same time. During some special occasion and events like Janmashtami, Dussehra, Youth Cultural program, etc. we do not normally have guest singers and speakers. If you or someone you know would like to be a guest singer or speaker, please contact our Liaisons.

We invite a luminary as our guest speaker to the congregation. Our guest speakers share their knowledge and inspire us. The guest speakers generally share their expertise in their field which may or may not be religious in nature. All satsangis find this very beneficial and thought-provoking. Satsangis believe in sharing and learning from each other and learning never ends.

Congregation ends with the prasad and Priti Bhoj (lunch). If anyone is interested in being a host family (food sponsor), please contact our Prasad Coordinator. If we have multiple Host Families signed up for a specific day, then the expense is split between the families.
